There is no such thing as a one-size-fits-all lighting design. It takes experience and training to know the best and most efficient solution to an given situation. Spire Lighting Design is the company to call when you need an expert in stage lighting design.

We are an independent company with no ties with lighting manufacturers, allowing us to specify the best piece of equipment across all brands and distributors. Our three primary divisions are stage lighting design, lighting consulting and lighting training. These three areas work together with our professionalism and attention to detail to allow us to give you the best possible stage lighting design experience.

We work very closely with you from the start, and are available at any step of the way to make sure things are done right and that you are getting what you really need. We will work as part of your design team, and have experience working with both professionals and volunteers.

Matt Phillips is a lighting designer and consultant with over 10 years experience in theater, concert, and worship lighting. He designs temporary lighting rigs and shows for concerts or events, as well as lighting infrastructure for permanent installation in new or old venues. By being independent, yet having connections with several production companies in the region, he can help design a system that best meets your needs and budget, and then help you achieve this system.
